Gain muscle NOT loose belly fat- ever seen a guy at the gym who has tonnes of muscle but looks like he is pregnant? That is what happens if you have very strong abs and high body fat %. Anyone Bank Routing Number Home Street Bank who says ” crunches makes you loose weight” is clearly an idiot.

Ab exercises will help build up your core muscles. High intensity conditioning and a sensible diet of quality foods is the “quickest” way. There’s no way to target fat loss in one specific area. The belly and love handles are always the last to go….trust me. Still working on ‘em. Stupid beer.

Crunches do HElP, but thats all they do, its a diet that has you eat less calories than you normally would. so take the daily guidline.

if you eat 1500 calories a day, you should be lookign at eating 1300 calories and adding some exercies in there. abotu 3 x30 minutes a week. you’ll soon see the difference.

doign just muscle work on there own will gain you stomach muscles and not really burn the fat at all and gain you that muscly pregnant look.

they do work…but only when combiend with a balanced diet :-)

also becareful when doing stomach muscles. too many people do lots of situps and forget to do there core lower back muscles at the same time.

No, they don’t. They help to add muscle tissue. To lose belly fat you need to burn fat from all over your body with cardio, strength training, and the proper nutrition.
