What should i do to get trully ripped ( 6 packs abs)?

Question by kyrilan: What should i do to get trully ripped ( 6 packs abs)?
I’m a 17 years old guy, i turn 18 in march and i have a goal of having 6-packs abs at this moment. I weight 126 lbs for 5.2 Ft. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, do crunches and other abs exercises everyday.

My diet is healty( lots of veggies and fruits and lots of fibers, lean meats) but still should i consider losing some fat ( no weight) ?

I would also like to pack on muscle and add some strenght but it’s not my principal objectives.

Can anybody help me ?

Thanks in advance
( I will not take any drugs( fat reducing pills) or synthetic substances.)

Get a body fat analysis. This will let you know how close you are to having Bank Routing Number East Cambridge Savings Bank a 6-pack, and what is neccessary to get there. I think guys have to be around 6% body fat to have a 6-pack.

Well to get a six-pack you’re doing everything right, if you really are eating healthy, but have your body fat checked. For a male to be able to see his abs, he needs to have body fat in the single digits. If not, then you’ll just need to lose a little fat through aerobics. I suggest running because it tones EVERYTHING and burns fat better than anything.
I would personally ditch the crunches. Fairly useless. You can probably do 100 crunches but try a full sit-up. They’re harder. Just don’t jerk on the neck. Cross your arms over your chest. Try sit-ups on an incline bench when you’re at the gym too. You will see results really fast.

I also recommend a book called the Abs Diet. The editor of Men’s Health wrote it and it’s excellent. Talks about getting a six-pack.

Sounds good so far. Now you need to get rid of that layer of fat that’s over your abdomen, and work those abs. The best ab work out that I’ve found is hanging leg lifts. Hang on something like a chin up bar….if you can…and slowley lift and lower your legs. Take your time with this…….you’ll feel the burn. This is a workout that you can do every day. You can lift at angles too for your obliques. Just lift and lower slowley…..stay on your diet..and if you continue on, you’ll have the abs you want by this summer. Best of luck to you.
