Question by masterofwined: ripped abs, or bulky?
I’m on track and I workout too. My diet is awful though, and I have a layer of fat over my abs. But, I feel as though eating lots and not careful weight loss dieting makes building muscle easier. At the moment I’m kinda muscular but I don’t work lower body as often because of track. So I’m wondering
A. Should i go after more bulk, abs, or a compromise?
B. How important is lower body?
Remember when answering for bulk, I’m not a body builder or a steroids user, chances are I won’t be so ripped it’s disgusting.

focus on one goal at a time. if your bulking then focus on lifting heavy and getting good sleep. you should most deffinately lift lowerbody, it only takes one time each week really. squats and deadlifts are proven to boost test levels which dirrectly stimulates muscle growth. just try to do them when you can reest the day after (not run). when you feel youve put on enough muscle or too much fat, switch goal to cutting. do this by keeping everything the same, only thing that changes is you count calories and eat at least 500 below matainance level. thats my advice
