i think you should start to be more active and stay away from junk. you are not heavy. just try drinking more water, eating healthier foods and doing some exercise, walking, jogging………just get moving. start walking places instead of being lazy

The truth is that everyone has a six pack it’s just covered by a layer of fat. So in order to make your abs visible, you have to bring down your body fat percentage to around 6% or 7%. Hope I helped and good luck!

everyone has a 6 pack you need to have an extremely low % of body fat to show them. get down to about 7% body fat and you should see results.

it depends on your diet. everything depends on diet. most people, especially if they eat meat believe that you can only find stuff like iron and protien in animal products. thats a falsehood. i havent tried this for myself, since im a healthy weight. and by healthy weight, i mean i am actually healthy. sure, i tend to crave junk food and whatever, but as a rule im vegitarian. i eat vegies, fruits, nuts, legumes (beans), herbs, and spices. as for muscle, im pretty much a weakling. i mean, i can lift things many of my friends cant cause its too heavy for them. but ive never really tried to gain muscle… i really should though, but thats beside the point. i do know that protien is practicly, if not particularly essensial for building muscle. i also know that muscle weighs more than fat, possibly as much as twice the weight of fat. meaning if i was to try to gain muscle, id probably gain weight. im a string bean… well, not quite, but i dont have much on my bones as it is. so turning my fat to muscle could turn my wimpy 120 lbs to like 130. so dont stress the weight aspect so much. legumes (beans) all have protien. something i read a while ago on some health site said that chickpeas have a higher concentration of protein than most other beans. dont worry about the gas so much either. not all beans give you gas. and if they do, they amount depends on the kind of bean. dont cook the “living tar” out of your food. a lot of people do that. spinich? i hate it when its cooked the traditional Popeye style. its disgusting and makes me gag. same goes for spaghetti squash. but just lightly cooked or steamed, both are wonderful and not sloppy at all. and most of the nutrients would still be in them. same thing for beans. the less you cook em, the better they are, though personally, i wouldnt suggest eating them raw… that could be kind of wierd. so while your getting your muscle-building protein, excersise. doesnt have to be stuff like Bo-Flex or whatever. there are much better ways of getting a good work-out. go for a brisk walk and stretch afterwards. or carry groceries into the house, lifting the bags up to shoulder-height and down again. or get a couple of strange oldies-looking ankle or wrist weights. they just strap on. my mum has a set of five pounders that use Velcro. id put them on and wear them to school but youd probly be able to tell i was wearing them under my pantlegs… not something id want. lol. or garden if you can. gardening is a great way to work all the upper-body muscles. if you happen to have an older sister who’s nursing or know someone else who’s nursing, suggest that to her. she’ll find it works wonders for her baby. XD dont mean to bog you down, but i just thought id mention it just in case. lol are you too fat?? hardly. boys tend to be more bone-heavy than girls. i dont know average weights for young boys or even for older boys, but with me being 17, at 5’5″ and 120lb with no muscle to speak of, i think your still doin pretty good. just remember, eat protein and excersise (using targeted or generalized movements) and muscle will REPLACE fat, and you could become heavier than you are now, just for the weight of the muscle alone. also remember this: ripped abs might be attractive, but only if you have the rest of the muscles to go with them. trust me. no girl wants to see a washboard tummy and flabby arms and legs. ;D

    Cut Calories Wisely

It may be tempting to drastically cut your calorie intake when starting a healthy lifestyle. Instead, use a step method when cutting your calorie intake to minimize risk. Reducing calories too quickly results in your body rapidly burning all available calories, which will lower your metabolism. Furthermore, you are more likely to maintain your healthy lifestyle through this step method.
