Bodyweight exercises are great when used with other methods, cliff scalers for instance, are great to work in with barbell or kettlebell work.

Kudos for taking advantage of everyone’s ignorance of fitness.
How many more years must old exercises be reiterated by folks trying to make it big?
Tell me how to do a sit up ‘cuz I know that’s brand-friggin’ new.

The song is Sirius by the Alan Parsons Project. They play it at the start of Bulls games, etc.

@tjdj01 Check up on some recent studies. It is not correct that “fats can only be burned through the Oxidative pathway”. I don’t claim to be an expert in the area of exercise or nutrition but I do hold a personal training certification and am currently studying exercise science in college.
Review some up-to-date information and I’m confident you will see that you are incorrect. Gycolysis nets 2 ATP molecules, while the TCA cycle yields 36! This is of the utmost importance in relation to exercise

@diamondd11 your wrong mate. Carbs can be burned through the glycolytic and oxidative pathways. Fats can only be burned through the oxidative pathways. Therefore cardio is a useful way of burning stored fat and still increase metabolism. However, weights are also pretty useful compared to just cardio. Once you have done cardio, your metabolism runs high for another hour or two after training. When you have done weights, it runs high for another 24 hours!! Gd way of burning more calories!
