Your probably going to need to do more than just cardio, to get ripped abs. You’ll need to do workouts for your core.

Well it depends on how much body fat you have now. The best way to be training your whole body and to do HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) twice a week on non-workout days it has been doing the trick. Oh and if you arent eating decent(EX. protein, carbs, low fat) dont expect results

you need to exercise however much it takes to get rid of your stomach fat (everybody’s body is different!). keep in mind that there is NO specific way to get rid of fat from a specific area, so you’re going to have to decrease your total body fat.

    basically there are 3 steps:
    1) make sure you’re eating almost enough calories to keep your body fuelled for exercise, but not so much that you’re storing any as fat. if you don’t have quite as much as you need then your body will burn its fat stores. You probably want at least 1800 calories (more if you’re quite active) but you can work it out more precisely… links are below.

    2) do cardio, as you suggested. i’d say at least 2-3 times a week and at least 20-30 mins each time. Ergometers (rowing machines) are fun, running or swimming are good too. mix it up-your body gets used to things every 4-6 weeks if you’re doing the same stuff over and over.

    3) do ab workouts. there are plenty of good ideas in videos on the web, or ask a trainer at the gym to show you some. once you strip off the fat using the diet and cardio, you’ll want some nice big muscle underneath that people can actually see!
