Question by Kevin: I have 4 months to get ripped as a crosscountry runner. Can someone give me some advice?
I’m 16 years old, currently 120 lbs, want Abs really bad, and also don’t want to just be the really skinny fast kid. I would really appreciate help on a diet plan/ workout plan (besides the 60-100 mile weeks that take away all my muscle) or any help at all on either of these subjects.

High mileage isn’t going to take away your muscle, it’s going to make you more lean. If you want abs, you need to run more. Everyone has abs, but they’re usually covered up by a layer of fat, because fast tends to settle around the stomach area first.
As for building muscle, I’d recommend doing lower repetitions(10 is a good number to shoot for) of high intensity weight training. That’s the best way to build muscle. Bench press is a good one, but anything that targets specific muscle groups will be good for building muscle.
