Question by Cool Chuck: How can I get ripped in 7 months?
I’m 18 at 5’5″ at 147 pounds. I want to get rid of the flab covering my abs. I wanna develop a nice toned body for the summertime and for life.
Any specific workout routines that can help me out that can guarantee results? And how often should I do them? And what should I eat?

there are no guarantees because everybody’s body is different.. low crab (but don’t go to overboard), a diet high in protein, potassium, magnesium, and zinc. fresh veggies. try to stay away from anything processed (tv dinners, canned soups, etc).
Get plenty of cardio, do various core exercises (work the sides, crunches, half situps, “japanese situps”, reverse crunches, leg lifts)
do various pushups and dips.. standard pushups, hands facing outward, triangle pushups. fast, and slow to work different muscle groupings and fibers. make sure you stretch and drink LOTS of water too. if you need a pickme up drink after working out, get some chocolate milk, or juice instead of some sports drink loaded with corn syrup.
squats (full and half) and lunges are good too.
not much else anyone can really tell you, short of getting a personal trainer.. its all about dedication, and willpower. with your build i doubt you’ll get bulky, but you can get pretty toned.

Whatever you do to get ripped, it takes time. You can start by modifying your diet and eating fresh fruits and vegetables to give your body the nutrition it needs. Then do muscle building exercises that will give your more muscle to help burn off more fat.
Eventually the more muscle you have and the more fat you lose you will see the fat over your stomach go away and you can get ripped abs. However, this is a fairly long term project.
Here’s a couple of free videos that go into how to lose body fat and some exercises that work pretty good for abs.
