Is my ab workout enough?

Question by Lord Elrond: Is my ab workout enough?
I do {(30 crunches + 30 reverse crunches) X 3 sets} twice a week. Is that enough to develop ripped abs? If not what count should i target to get good abs?

And how long will it take to get results?

That will make your abs look good if you are eating right too.

Not at all because your not targeting all of your abdominals..

Get a simple Ab DVD from the library or a gym trial membership to try different workouts.. You’ll be able to feel the ones that work!! And pace yourself!!

    Good Luck!!

You are doing more then enough. you should also add another day to target your obliques.

What people don’t realize is that abs are a tiny muscle that don’t burn many calories by working out. The only way to get them to show is to reduce body fat. Doing abs all day will not reduce as much body fat as lifting your major muscles or cardio. Those are the keys to getting abs… cardio plus strength training and healthy eating…

Try to not eat carbs after 7pm and try to eat 6 small meals throughout the day rather then 3 bigger ones. this will keep your metabolism constantly high.

Alcohol is also not a good idea as it is nothing but empty calories

usually 6 months or so. If you have the time and money i suggest you try P90X it will definitely build your body to its maximum potential .
